The Unveiling of The Holy Spirit As Mother Of All Creation
When I first encountered Lord Jesus, the living God, in late 2023, I won’t lie, I initially struggled and resisted to fully surrendering to God and joining the body of Christ because:
I resented calling God a Father. As a woman who had A LOT of unresolved wounds and trauma around men and the patriarchy at the time I did not like referring to God as a Father. It conjured up all sorts of images of a misogynistic, bullying, oppressive sky Lord who hated spiritually gifted women like me.
The trinity of God was all male pronouns and there was nothing about a Mother aspect to God which at the time turned me off. I wasn’t keen on following a religion about only men. I used to believe that Jesus = the patriarchy, and Christianity was a male religion for men only, and women had no place in the body of Christ.
Women in the body of Christ had been told by religion that they couldn’t be mouth pieces for God, they couldn't have roles in the church, they had to be silent in the church, any woman with spiritual and supernatural gifts were often pushed out of the church, demonised, ostracised and labelled as crazy, weird, witches or evil.
I found a lot of proclaimed Christians behaving in very judgmental, unchrist like and religious ways that repelled me.
Let’s just say I had a bit of baggage when it came to anything to do with Jesus and Christians so it surprised me when I encountered Him and eventually came to know the TRUTH of who and what He is (THE LIVING GOD).
I saw first hand how He healed, restored and transformed my life and family, and in the end after experiencing His incredible love I wanted to give my life to Him. I fell in love with Jesus, and the TRUE body of Christ, and I haven’t looked back.
I remember one of the first things Jesus said to me was - “I am not a religion Ellen, nor am I the patriarchy that hurt you. I am none of those things. I am the Highest Love of God here to heal and restore you as a woman of God, a child of God, who is loved.”
Over a period of time Jesus took me through a healing process where I had to separate Him from all the man made religious fanfare of the world. He healed my heart from patriarchal trauma, had me forgive the men in my life who’d hurt me, and He opened my heart to receive the love, joy, peace and freedom of God The Most High.
And one thing that blew my mind was He also revealed to me and taught me the true triune nature of God. Because I had asked Him one day if there was a mother aspect to Him. I had always felt a Mother aspect to God had been missing in the body of Christ.
My questions were answered one early morning whilst laying in bed when I saw my whole room fill with a bright white light, the Holy Spirit, the white dove, and an overwhelming sense of a Mother’s love and I heard the Lord say -
“The Holy Spirit is the Mother Aspect of Me.”
I was then led to scriptures in the Bible in particular Proverbs where it talks about Lady Wisdom which is the Holy Spirit. I then started to find other scriptures that referred to the mothering nature of our Creator.
I found this an incredibly healing process and was set free from the lies that women have no place in God and His body of Christ (a.k.a The Highest Love).
God also revealed to me in my quiet time with Him that the trinity is made as such -
God is pure Spirit, and is neither male or female but when God moves into creation He manifests as -
God the Father - God who is beyond creation.
Holy Spirit - God who is birthing and creating material creation.
Son of Man - God in material creation which is who and what Jesus is.
The Lord also revealed to me that the trinity of God is all around us in -
Father
Mother
Child
The Father protects and upholds the women and children and creates a safe space for the women to birth and create new life, the child.
God also reveals His image of being both a Mother and Father in the following scripture -
Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. (Genesis 1:26-27)
It was revealed to me that when God was here on earth in the human form of Jesus, He loved women, the first person He revealed Himself to was a woman, He ministered to women, women supported His ministry, and it was a woman who first spoke to Him after He resurrected.
Jesus showed me that women reflect the feminine face of God, our Creator, the Holy Spirit, the Mother of All Creation who births, gives and creates life in alignment and integrity with the wills and ways of the Father (God beyond creation). Men reflect the masculine face of God, our Creator.
Male and female He created them.
Unfortunately, Satan has done a pretty good job of trying to take women out and to create division amongst men and women. Satan first went after Eve and has been after women ever since because women hold the threads to birth and create life in alignment with God’s will, with the laws of love, beauty, and wholeness, and Satan is all about corrupting, destroying and perverting life.
So if Satan can destroy and corrupt women, silence them, keep them out of the church, the body of Christ, it weakens the body of Christ and the body of Christ is not a physical church it is the body of God’s pure love moving from the heavens into material creation.
Acts 7:48 (NKJV)
“The Most High does not dwell in temples made with hands.”
1 Corinthians 3:16 (NKJV)
“You are the temple of God and the Spirit of God dwells in you.”
Satan has been hell bent on convincing women they can’t be mouth pieces for God, they can’t have spiritual or supernatural gifts because it’s bad to, they don’t have a place in the church, they can’t teach on God, and a whole plethora of lies. Satan is the one who’s been silencing women.
Why?
Because women when fully aligned, activated in God, in the Holy Spirit are powerful prayer warriors, mothers who break demonic strongholds, set families free from darkness and war powerfully in the spiritual and supernatural. So Satan does not want this.
A woman who is fully aligned and in God will birth and create love, joy, peace, beauty, wholeness and righteousness in her life, marriage, family, community and world at large.
Everything Satan hates.
To counterfeit God and God’s Holy Spirit the true Mother of all creation, Satan has a demonic entity called the Queen of Heaven and all her Goddesses that keep women trapped in Witchcraft, New Age, the Occult, worshipping creation rather than the Creator, and has created perversion and division amongst men and women.
I will be going into more about revealing the demonic Queen of Heaven in later posts but for now if you are a woman reading this I want you to know that God is waking His daughters up. To come out of the lies, the darkness, the deception, the witchcraft of Satan, the perversion and back into the love, beauty, righteousness, purity and joy in which were all created for.
Jesus healed and restored my spiritual and supernatural gifts back into God and my identity in God because when I was all up in the New Age (Satan’s realm) my spiritual and supernatural gifts had been perverted by Satan, I’d been convinced I was a witch and I was led to believe that my power as a woman was worshipping my womb and the elemental forces of this world. As a result, keeping me stuck in bondage and lower levels of living, and being a voice for the kingdom of darkness and not realising it.
So if you are a woman who, like me, was led to believe that Jesus is all about the patriarchy and it’s all about men and there is no feminine aspect to God, I hope this post today brings healing, light and insight to your heart.
As always I encourage you not to take my word for it but go into The Word, The Bible, do your own research, ask the Lord to reveal the truth to you, and to heal you from any lies that you’ve believed in about your worth, value, and place as a woman in the body of Christ.
Because your voice matters. Your spiritual gifts in God matter. And the body of Christ needs you.
It’s time for women, the daughters of God, to wake up, to rise up and to create and birth the Kingdom of Heaven in this world.

Moses (with dramatic flair) asks God if he is expected to “carry them in my arms, as a nurse carries an infant.”
It’s Moses speaking — but it shows God’s nurturing expectations toward His people.
Proverbs 1:20–21 — Wisdom raises her voice publicly
“Wisdom calls aloud outside; She raises her voice in the open squares.”
She cries out like a mother pleading for her children to return to safety.
Proverbs 1:23 — Wisdom pours out her Spirit
“Surely I will pour out my spirit on you; I will make my words known to you.”
This is one of the strongest overlaps with the Holy Spirit — Wisdom pours out her spirit the way God pours out His Spirit.
Proverbs 3:18 — Wisdom as a tree of life
“She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her.”
Life-giving, nurturing, sustaining — imagery often tied to the Spirit.
Proverbs 4:6 — She protects
“Do not forsake her, and she will preserve you; Love her, and she will keep you.”
Protective, guarding, mothering.
Proverbs 4:8–9 — She crowns and honors
“She will bring you honor… She will place on your head an ornament of grace.”
Like a mother preparing her child for adulthood, she adorns with dignity.
Proverbs 7:4 — Wisdom as “sister”
“Say to wisdom, ‘You are my sister,’ And call understanding your nearest kin.”
Familial, intimate imagery.
Proverbs 8:1–4 — Wisdom cries out to humanity
“Does not Wisdom cry out,
And understanding lift up her voice?”
Standing on hilltops, calling the whole world home — maternal invitation.
Proverbs 8:22–31 — Wisdom present at creation
“The Lord possessed me at the beginning of His way…
I was beside Him as a master craftsman.”
Here Wisdom participates in creation — which mirrors Genesis 1:2, where the Spirit hovers like a bird brooding over the waters.
This is the most powerful parallel to the Holy Spirit’s creative role.
Proverbs 9:1–6 — Wisdom builds a house and prepares a feast
“Wisdom has built her house…
She has prepared her food…
She calls from the highest places…”
This reads like the Grande Matriarch of Heaven preparing a table for her children — nourishment, invitation, and formation.
God as a Mother Who Nurses and Comforts
Isaiah 66:13 (NKJV)
“As one whom his mother comforts,
So I will comfort you…”
God compares divine comfort to the deep, quiet cradle a mother gives.
Isaiah 49:15 (NKJV)
“Can a woman forget her nursing child…?
Surely they may forget,
Yet I will not forget you.”
A mother’s devotion becomes the metaphor—God’s love goes even further.
God as the One Who Gives Birth
Deuteronomy 32:18 (NKJV)
“…You forgot the God who gave you birth.”
A fierce reminder that God is pictured as One who labors life into being.
Isaiah 42:14 (NKJV)
“…I will cry out like a woman in labor,
I will pant and gasp.”
Poetry from a God who refuses to stay quiet while justice emerges.
God as a Mother Eagle
Deuteronomy 32:11–12 (NKJV)
“As an eagle stirs up its nest,
Hovers over its young,
Spreading out its wings, taking them up…”
The image is tender and wild—God brooding over creation.
God as a Mother Hen Gathering Her Children
Matthew 23:37 (NKJV)
Jesus says:
“…How often I wanted to gather your children together,
as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings…”
A maternal ache hidden inside divine longing.
Lady Wisdom (A Feminine Personification of God’s Wisdom)
Proverbs 8:1–3; 22–31
Wisdom—feminine in Hebrew (ḥokmah)—speaks as a woman who was “with God” before creation.
While not a literal female being, she is the poetic feminine expression of God’s wisdom and creative delight.
The Holy Spirit in Feminine Terms (Hebrew)
In Hebrew, the word for Spirit, ruach, is grammatically feminine.
This shows up especially in passages like:
Genesis 1:2
“…the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.”
The Hebrew image of “hovering” echoes a mother bird brooding over eggs.
